Visit Us

The easiest first visit is a public event or open evening. Outside those, visits are hosted in advance. For a first visit, that usually means a resident.

Entrance

The main entrance is a gray metal gate. Our blue door is inside, on the first floor to the right.

Do not assume that somebody being inside means the space is available for guests. You still need a host unless you are coming to a public event.

Who Can Come

  • Anyone can come to public events.
  • Outside public events, your visit needs a confirmed host.
  • A member can host a guest only when a resident is already in the space.
  • If you want to bring children, animals, or a group, ask in advance.

What To Bring

  • A clear idea of why you want to come.
  • The parts, files, or materials you actually need for your own task.
  • Reasonable self-sufficiency: F0 is a community space, not a repair counter.

Best First Visit

The best first visit is usually a public event or open evening. That is when the space expects guests and it is easiest to get a short tour, context, and a host.

How To Request A Non-Event Visit

  1. Write in the public chat topic Ask to visit.
  2. Say when you want to come, for how long, and what you want to do.
  3. Wait for a host to confirm. For a first visit, that usually means a resident.
  4. If nobody confirms, do not travel on spec.

A good request is specific. "Can I come right now?" is hard to answer. "Can I come tomorrow around 19:00 for an hour to look around and ask about electronics projects?" is much easier.

What Not To Expect

  • Guaranteed drop-in access at arbitrary times.
  • Automatic permission to use every tool or room.
  • Free troubleshooting on demand from whoever happens to be inside.

First-Visit Expectations

  • Ask before taking photos.
  • Ask before touching tools, equipment, or personal projects.
  • Treat guest Wi-Fi like public Wi-Fi.
  • Expect some parts of the space to be non-public, especially resident-only areas.
